John Rossiter rejoined Solomons in 2015 after 4 years of successful leadership within the groups Doig & Co business – growing the business to a £1m turnover specialist consultancy.

John’s practical and pragmatic style means he is able to demonstrate to the client that he and his team are invested in the client’s problems, and that the drive to find effective and commercially advantageous solutions is shared.

John is an experienced NEC3 practitioner who combines an in depth knowledge of the ECC contract with a practical and effective approach. With experience on major ECC projects in the water, process and energy sectors, John’s commercial awareness and contract administration skills delivered successful project results for several contracting organisations and places him in high demand both on a consultancy basis and to provide training and support to client teams.

John is an active supporter of professional development and has supported the MSc Construction Law cohort at Salford University by providing NEC3 awareness workshops and tutorials, as well as a number of clients in this area to improve the commercial and contractual performance of their project teams. John is also a published contributor within the NEC User Group forum and participates in Annual NEC User Group sessions – providing feedback and comment on proposed initiatives and proposed amendments.
