Luke joined the Solomons Europe team in 2020, bringing with him extensive experience in communications, marketing, business development, public relations and stakeholder engagement.
The driving force behind the international award-winning Choose Cumbria marketing campaign – which help lure skilled professionals to relocate to the county to support the growth plans of local businesses – he was latterly the editor of the in-Cumbria business magazine and website. He has previously worked in the tourism and energy sectors
Luke has a passion for championing business, not just in Cumbria, but across the North. He has a strong network of connections in both the business and political worlds, and is actively involved in a campaigns including the Northern Powerhouse and Family Business Network.
Solomons is an agile and evolving SME, with strong roots in Cumbria, the North East and the North West. Luke has the challenging responsibility of coordinating communications across our teams, sharing successes internally and externally, and raising the profile of the company.
He will also play a leading role in developing our social impact programme and bringing together like-minded SMEs to help support major projections across the North, which so far include the Power 8 in Cumbria and the TeesSMEs collaboration in Teeside.
