If the first annual Solomons team awards were a hit – then the second edition went off with a real bang!
Not only was there a record number of nominations, but the quality rose to new heights as members across our teams in the North West, North East and Cumbria regions vied for honours across six award categories.
The awards recognise the talent, achievements and passion of our people, who day-in-day out perform at the top of their game to drive the success of the business. Based on the 40 nominations put forward by colleagues, the future certainly looks very bright!
Company founders Dominic and Kerry Doig had the unenviable yet hugely rewarding task of picking through them to decide the eventual winners - and there were a number of extremely close calls!
The 2023 awards had a touch more sparkle to this first edition, coming midway through Solomons Europe’s 25th birthday year celebrations.
“We’ve come a long way during that time and our success and progress has been down to our people,” says Dom.
“While we’re naturally restless and are always looking to push on, we need to stop, reflect and celebrate what team members do, what they’ve achieved and recognise the hugely positive impact they have on the success of Solomons. We’ve been utterly blown away by the response this year and reading the nominations was truly inspiring. It gave us a huge amount of pleasure and left us with a great sense of pride in the fantastic team we’re so lucky to have here. A massive well done to all of you.”
